Ronnie & The Ramblers - Bahama Rock
(An Evening With Ronnie, 1972)

Next time you vacation in The Bahamas, drop anchor at the Anchorage Hotel, where good friends meet. No "big city" hotel scene here, just a friendly home town atmostphere. And we do mean friendly! Delightful accommodations overlooking the sea make the Anchorage your vacation hideaway. But when you want to come back to civilization, downtown Nassau is only a pleasant walk away.

Sensous. Sumptuous. Spanish. Those are all descriptions of the brand new Ronnie's Rebel Room, Nassau's newest, biggest night club. Ronnie Butler and his Ramblers opened the new club to a capacity crowd of Bahamian notables, including Prime Minister Lynden O. Pindling and actor Sidney Poitier. Ronnie & The Ramblers had been around for ten years before they got a place to call their own, and what a place. The interior is a sensual blend of warm reds and oranges with cool plum accents, dark wooden arches, gleaming mirrors, and plush carpeting. The lights glow softly from wrought iron chandeliers and the music is warmly Bahamian. "I love it", Ronnie exults. "The mood is exactly right."

The lights are low, the air is cool, but the sounds are warm, the sounds that pack then in at Ronnie's Rebel Room.
